
Since its establishment in 1976, the SLU-School of Nursing with the leadership of the deans - Dr. Jesusa Lara, Madame Fatima Fangayen and Dr. Mary Grace Lacanaria, the increasing number of efficient and effective faculty and quality students have propelled the school to become one of the only six centers of excellence in nursing education in the Philippines and the only center of excellence in the Cordillera Administrative Region. The School of Nursing is always among the Top Ten Performing Schools in the Nursing Licensure Examination. It is a Level 3 institution accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and continues to garner awards and recognition in the areas of research and extension, academics, and social involvement. SLU-School of Nursing continues to soar high with its exemplary implementation of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, masters and doctorate programs.
